Equity

Cities and businesses are increasingly focused on equity and diversity but at the heart of that focus is demographic data. The IQSpatial team explores demographic data not to put communities in a box but to bring them together with solutions. Our analysis seeks to address climate resiliency for communities and increase economic access with greater transportation affordability for vulnerable populations.

Our work helps cities, public agencies, and businesses elevate the needs of communities requiring more support from our transportation, housing, and economic systems - leading to co-benefits for all of us.

Mobility

Technology has increased transportation choice but our streets and built environment are lagging behind. Micromobility and emerging transportation services are growing - yet who has access and where people can use these services safely isn’t often part of the discussion at smart city and innovation meet-ups .

We approach mobility from a broad lens, knowing people use transportation to gain greater economic and social mobility. Transportation services need to serve more than a 9-5 commute. Our analysis of system demand and network priorities focus on improving access to safer, greener and more affordable transportation for vulnerable communities. Connecting people so they can learn, play, and grow their potential.

Sustainability

From mitigating climate risks to ensuring vulnerable communities have access to green transportation - our focus on sustainability is holistic. IQSpatial’s geospatial data analysis help cities and clients create social, economic and environmental sustainability.

We look at where and who will suffer from climate impacts in the built environment to help decision makers prioritize effective solutions. If a bus stop has recurrent flooding or train rails warp due to excessive heat, those impacts are felt across communities but more acutely by people on the margins. Increasing climate resiliency is about more than infrastructure, it’s about building back a better world for everyone.
